Nancy Li's Piano and Violin Music Studio

Founded in 2018, Nancy Li's Piano and Violin Music Studio is dedicated to providing personalized piano and violin lessons to students of all ages and levels (including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and of musically inclined). With a focus on quality instruction and individualized teaching methods, the studio stands out for its commitment to musical excellence and student success. 

 

Completing her Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano Performance in 2016 from Manhattan School of Music, New York and Master of Music in 2018 in Piano Performance at University of Toronto (St. George), Nancy received her professional musical training in piano under Dr. Siaw Sing Koo and Prof. Albert Tiu at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, NUS and violin with Prof. Qian Zhou. Due to high academic and musical achievements, Nancy was awarded with Merit Scholarship upon acceptance and was selected to be on the Dean's List for 3 consecutive years at the Manhattan School of Music. Later, she also received the University of Toronto Fellowship when admitted to the University of Toronto (St. George). In 2008, she received the President's Education Awards Program in recognition of her Outstanding Academic Excellence at the Singapore American School.

Not only has she performed in Eisenberg-Fried Concerto Competition (Finals, 2013) and Singapore’s International Chopin Competition (Finals, 2010) but was also selected in Anton Nel’s (2015) and Thomas Hecht’s (2010) and Musicians of Marlboro (2017) and Trio Jean Paul (2016) piano and strings chamber masterclasses, respectively.

 

She has been invited to judge the Happy Music Festival in 2025 for the piano category and the Interscholastic Association for Southeast Asian Schools (IASAS) at the Singapore American School (SAS). She is also the piano accompanist for the music department's Senior Recitals and Advanced Topic Performing Arts (ATPA) Course at SAS. â€‹
