Service Description

1. Payment will be by Bank/Paynow Transfer or Cash. 2. Fees are collected by term on the 1st week of every 3 months. If lessons start in the middle of the term, lessons will be charged until the end of the term. Make up or extension of lessons must be scheduled within the same term if not all lessons are able to be completed. Term 1 (10 lessons): January to March (Weeks off include Chinese New Year and Term 1 holiday) Term 2 (11 lessons): April to June (Weeks off are the 1st 2 weeks of June) Term 3 (13 lessons): July to September (Week off is the 2nd week of September) Term 4 (11 lessons): October to December (Weeks off will be the last 2 weeks of December) 3. Late payment of fees will incur an extra 15% charge. 4. Strictly no refund of fees. 5. If cancellations of lesson is given at least 48 hours of notice in advance, a make-up lesson will be arranged. However, cancellation or missed lessons within 24 hours of the commencement of the lesson will be deemed as a counted lesson. 6. There will be a 1 month notice to terminate lessons in formal writing. Sudden termination without 1 month notice will lead to an extra 1 month of payment of fees. 7. Should the student desire to have more lesson(s) in the month due to any reason, prior notice need to be given for scheduling purposes. 8. For unforeseen medical reasons, last minute cancellations before the commencement of lessons will render a make-up lesson. In such cases, a Medical Certificate must be produced. All make-up lessons should ideally be completed during the same month or month after of which the cancellation of lesson was made. 9. New students may opt for a trial lesson before committing to the studio. A trial lesson can be either 30, 45 or 60 minutes, charged at $60, $90 or $120 respectively. There will be no additional cost if the trial lesson is conducted at my residence. However, there will be a $20-$30 additional cost if the trial lesson is conducted at the student's residence. Trial lessons will be booked and paid in advance. There will be no cancellations after booking and payment is made. Strictly no refunds will be given for any changes. 10. End of year recitals are offered for free for all students. These are not compulsory activities but are highly recommended to showcase your musical journey, develop your individual musical identity and to learn from other students.
